Dell Vostro 1510 Laptop
Pros:
1. Total customization. Mine is 1.8 Ghz, 2 GB, 160GB 7200 rpm, GE force 8400M GS,…
2. Slot load CDROM is good. Tray starts to malfunction over a period in time.
3. Low cost compared to other brands as Dell doesn’t spend on bollywood stars for advertising! (hopefully at least as of now)!
4. Battery lasts long under normal usage.
5. Wireless is good.
Cons:
1. Keyboard is a little cramped. No separate HOME and END keys.
2. Palm rest gets heated up; may be due to 7200 rpm HDD.
3. No S-Video out.
4. Touch pad doesn’t have markings for vertical and horizontal scroll. Not a must, since the functions are present, but markings do help.
5. No N-Videa label! only intel and N Series labels are present 
6. Opening the laptop is difficult. The gap should have had been a litter wider.
