GAS is a leading Italian premium apparel brand owned by Grotto S.p.A and promoted by the Grotto family. The founder, Mr. Claudio Grotto started his business in fashion in the early '70s. Raymond, the Gautam Singhania owned ‘house of complete men,’ has joined hands, in a Rs. 50 crore 50:50 joint venture, with the Italian fashion major Grotto Spa to bring premium “GAS” brand apparel in India.
While, Raymond brand of fabrics and apparel enjoy high reputation for quality among Indian consumers of all age groups, within and outside India, GAS brand finds widespread appeal among today’s young generation. GAS sales six million of clothings a year through a network of 3,500 retail outlets, in 56 countries across the world.
